You don't need a second sword (or a sword for that matter, you don't "need: anything. A sword does help alot though as some of the stuff uses them). I'd suggest you buy a forgerunner though.

I can answer a bit...Some times the spawns are just dreadful and unmanageable. The build is designed to optimize a runner and gives the best chance to make it possible. A players skill may also determine their chances or their equipment. The build is the best of the best. As for joining the guild. You can join, but it is not necessary. You will find alot of runs that people in the guild can't complete that you can pick up and do for them. It's a good guild and a good idea to join if you are going to join the academy, but not necessary. Hope that helped and correct me if I'm wrong guys.

I actually play a lot on a second account.

My primary account is beset with messages like you wouldn't believe everytime I log on (sort of like the chaos of the LBS Christmas event, but 24/7 . . .

I'd just like to personally and publicly thank the Academy members and officers for the Christmas event. What a great event! Everyone I have talked to has had so much positive to say about it. Thanks everyone.

no you dont need to be in the guild you can still be in your own guild and will have access to all the stuff like forums,videos and all that good stuff but being in the guild is great since there are alot of cool people in it ^^
